The Joy of the Ride

Built on the revolutionary Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform, Corolla brings new meaning to fun-to-drive. The wide track, low centre of gravity and highly-rigid structure – along with features like multi-link rear suspension and active cornering assist – combine to put outstanding agility and stability at your fingertips.

2.0-LITRE 4-CYLINDER

All models feature Toyota’s 2.0-litre Atkinson-cycle 4-cylinder engine paired with two motor-generator for more power and fuel efficiency. Generating 169 horsepower, the eCVT requires just 4.7L/100 km.‡

E-CVT

The electronically controlled CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) is cleverly designed to give you the smooth, fuel-efficient performance of a CVT with the more direct driving feel of traditional geared automatic transmission.

SPORT-TUNED SUSPENSION

On all models the MacPherson strut front suspension and double wishbone rear suspension are specially tuned to give you a more connected road feel – all without sacrificing ride comfort.

Apple CarPlayTM/Android AutoTM

Using Siri voice commands, steering wheel audio controls, or the touch screen, you can make phone calls, send text messages, call up your favourite playlist, use maps to find the best route, and more—all while keeping your focus on the road. Standard on all models.

Android Auto compatibility makes it easy to access your favorite music, media, and messaging apps in the car. With large touch targets, a simplified interface, and easy-to-use voice actions with Google Assistant, it’s designed to minimize distraction so you can stay focused on the road. Available Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert

For added safety and peace of mind, Corolla now comes standard with a Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) with Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). BSM alerts you to the presence of vehicles in adjacent lanes that may have escaped visibility in your side-view mirrors. While RCTA warns you about cross-traffic you can’t see while backing up.

10 AIRBAGS

Should the unexpected or unavoidable occur, Corolla helps cushion the blow with a network of ten strategically placed airbags.

BACKUP CAMERA

For a clear view in reverse, all Corollas come equipped with a standard backup camera. Now you’ve got eyes on the road behind you too.
